Of course if it's for the right reason then that's a different story

Where art thou my happiness

The one thing people search for, work for, fight for but can't grasp it?

It's the season!

Tax time again, and this time im hoping for some sort of return at least! It bothers me that i pay heaps on health fund + health insurance but never use it... so this time around, with my back shoulder pain, i thought i'll give it all i've got... health insurance claim + government health fund claim.. yipee!!

No seriously.. i do have a nagging back shoulder pain that has been going on for the past 3 weeks! remember the back brace? yea, that didn't help.

After much nagging from mates, finally went to see a chiro for the first time. Aside from me saying "please dont kill me" each time he tries to "crack" (according to him it's aligning my spinal cord, yea.. whatever) my joints, the outcome was somewhat pleasing. I realised i could stablise myself on a ball really well pretty much immediately after the first session!

so, i'm going back again, convinced that i can be better and stronger with all that cracking.... oh and eventually fix my back shoulder.... i think....

did i also mention i went for a spinal xray and they actually give you a "love heart shape" metal-like piece to protect damaging any potential "babies" you might have in you? it's funny... what's even funnier was the protector piece was bright RED. Yes, i get amuse with little things...

The next Heroes - ME!

Now.. i just have to come up with a super-power... hmm...

Braces

There are braces for teeth.. and then there's braces for the back...
I've been having issues with my back shoulder for the whole week! Not knowing what the cause is, been just taking ibuprofen (maybe it's inflamation) and to stop the pain.. finally dragged myself to see the doctors.. and so here i am today, with a mini small brace attached to my back to support my back. Well, at least now i can sit for a longer period of time without pain.. although i do look a bit funny with a bump at the back...
oh well...

Best ribs in town!

I was told that this is "the" place to have ribs... so here I was, having a feast at Manly. And mark my words, it's really good! Just a tad too much for my tummy.... Welcome to Ribs and Rumps!

Blue Mountains - Wentworth Falls

Latest adventure hike was the Wentworth Falls hike (Hmmm.... wonder if this is where Wentworth Miller super hunk got his name from :)).

The hike was 3.5 hours. Breath taking views along the way, but I must admit, the swamp and mud that we had to walk through was just disgusting and ugly. My pretty white shoes were covered in mud and my track pants was covered with dry mud by the end of the walk.

Moving is hard work

I've moved around so much during my first 7 years here that I'm a pro at looking for rental places. I keep upgrading myself and never stay in one place for more than a year. There was this one time that I stayed for 6 months and moved out, purely because I wanted a change, but ended up not the next suburb away, but just accross the road... Sad, sad so very sad.

So this time around, I'm moving again. Away from the city, to a place close to the beach, close to old houses and historical area that reminds me of Greenwich in NY. It's not as nice as the big apple, but hey, beggers can't be choosers hey?!

Randwick - beautiful area, close to Coogee beach and the famous Bondi. This Eastern side is just gorgeous and buzzing with tourist! I guess I can blend in a bit and start taking the bus. Living in a shoe box may not be fun, but it comes with Foxtel, it can't be that bad right?!
